Woman CEO’s Hit Record High for Fortune 500’s

As more and more women sign their name as CEO these top in their field gals pave the way with top-notch leadership and inspiration.
Overall we’ve began to close the gap between the male vs. female salaries on the larger scale but the top earning male CEO still makes a whopping 1726% more then the top earning female.
Yet objectively Mr.  Cook does run Apple while Ms. Rosenfeld runs Kraft Foods big difference in how the companies are developed along with the overall compensation mindset.
“I didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about as a woman how I would manage differently – I was just happy to be managing.  In some ways it was a blessing because I didn’t second-guess myself, I didn’t add that factor into my leadership style.”
-Meg Whitman, HP CEO – Forbes.com

“If you look at just pure genetics, there was no gene-an intelligence gene, a capability gene, a work-hard gene -that was removed from women.  So why would it be any different?  There are some structural issues that we have to fix, like having men more engaged and involved in family, but there is no reason to believe whatsoever that women are any less capable.”

-Ursela Burns, CEO XEROX – daylife.com

“I knew at a very young age I wanted to run a company, and in school and beyond I was training all my life for what I do today.

I wasn’t afraid to declare it either. In 2007, The Wall Street Journal did an article on our family, and they put in that I wanted to be CEO. I remember getting phone calls from people saying, “I can’t believe you said that. What if you don’t get it?” And I’m like, “The thought never crossed my mind.”

-Denise Morrison, CEO Campbell Soup – wsj.com
